The David Brown DB4 was a Crawler tractor built from 1942 to 1949, by the David Brown company at Meltham Mills, West Yorkshire, England.

The tractor was built during and just after WWII for the Ministry. Approximately 110 built. Basically a Caterpillar D4 clone as these could not be imported for Military use under the Lend Lease deal.[1]
