DEUTZ (Shandong) Engine was founded in 2012 in Linyi, Shandong, China as a joint venture to produce commercial engines. The co-owners are Deutz AG of Germany and the Shangdong Changlin Machinery Group of China. It is a 70:30 (Deutz/Changlin) joint venture. Production is set to begin in 2013 with annual production of 65,000 engines.[1]
