Serial Numbers Information[]
County serial numbers were allocated in sequence of production, so do not relate to models, but a prefix was used to indicate the Skid unit/engine variations.
- 8FC & 6FC from 1967-Nov 75 - Ford 5000 skid
- 26FC from Nov 75-Dec 77 - Ford 6600 skid
Preservation[]
One special examples is the Ex NIAE tyre test rig which was with a collector in Hampshire, till May 2009 when it was put up for sale with other machines in his collection. (add details of fate to add once known). Please add any known examples
