The County 1174 tractor was built in England by County Commercial Cars Ltd, of Fleet Hampshire. It is based on a Ford 7600 rear end and a Ford 8700 engine. It features a 113 hp (84 kW) Ford engine. A Forward control version the County FC 1174 was also offered which was popular as a drill rig base and a lime spreader.
