Shangdong Changlin Machinery Group , or Changlin , is a tractor and construction equipment manufacturer based in Qingdao, Shandong (Shangdong), China . It was founded in 1986, white tracing its roots back to 1943, and builds tractors under the Changlin brand. They also manufacture backhoes , wheel loaders , Excavators , Skid Loaders and single-cylinder engines.
In 2011, Changlin and SAME Deutz-Fahr set up a 50/50 joint venture, Shandong Changlin DEUTZ-FAHR Machinery CO., LTD. , to manufacture and distribute tractors in China from 25 to 110 horsepower under the SH DEUTZ-FAHR brand, and from 110 to 300 horsepower under the Deutz-Fahr brand, with plans to sell 30,000 tractors in China by 2015.[1] [2]
Another joint venture was set up in 2012 with Deutz AG of Germany , DEUTZ (Shandong) Engine , to produce commercial engines.
