The Caterpillar D9T crawler tractor was introduced in 2004 as the replacement for the D9R.
Features
The D9T has a C18 engine with 'Advanced Combustion Emissions Reduction Technology' (ACERT) and Air-to-Air After Cooler (ATAAC) producing 410 hp (310 kW) (FWHP). It comes standard with 24-inch (61-cm) shoes, torque converter, differential steering, and a three speeds forward, three reverse powershift transmission. It is also equipped universal and straight-universal dozer blades.
The D9T was manufactured in the USA only, with a RJS serial number prefix.
