Weymann Coachwork

Please note Weymann sold production licences to many coachbuilders worldwide, and held own subsidiaries in some countries, as in the United kingdom, or Weymann of America in the USA. It is now in some cases impossible to be sure if a body was built by Weymann, a subsidiary, a licencee, or is just non-licenced, similar looking. Instead of properly licensed Weymann fabric bodies some of these images may be better described as being of Weymann-style fabric-covered bodies.

Later Weymann coachwork was available with metal panels, giving no visual difference to conventional bodies, they were, however, built on a similas structure as the fabric covered Weymann bodies.
