Non-free logos

This category relates to Non Free Logos - That is logos that are Not Copyright Free in that they are corporate logos of a registered design belonging to the corporate entity they represent or its parent company. Some may belong to defunct companies but the 'brand name' may have passed to new owners.

They are used under a fair use rational, in that they are only used to illustrate the company they are referring to in articles that relate to that company and to create a similar logo would not be a fair and true representation of the companies identity. These images are the current or past 'brand' identity used by the firm in publicity material and advertising by which it is visually recognised.
