The Month categories are to group related events by the month in wich they occur regardless of year which is a seperate sort item.
Months articles on Tractor Wiki are a way of summarising month related facts and are also linked within some articles.

From January 1999 there are separate articles about months. For the first few years they seem to be forks of the sections concerned in the year articles. The contents of these sections can better be merged into the month article, after which the month articles can be transcluded in the year articles.
For later years the month articles are more comprehensive, the year articles provide a summary.
For 2003, 2004, and 2005, and from July 1, 2006, there is a page for each day, see Category:Dates. The pages are transcluded in the month pages such as February 2005 and February 2007.
