This meta category should only contain other categories. Files should either be in the relevant subcategory or in the parent category.

English:  This is a main category of the overall categories of Maps and Categories by country. It should not separately list the subdivisions or territories of countries. They belong as subcategories of the country categories. See also Maps of disputed territories. Overall, the map categories are organized from the larger areas and regions to smaller ones. So finding the maps of a particular country can be found by proceeding from maps by region and maps by continent and their subcategories such as [[Category:Maps by countries of Africa]].
