Low loader is a UK term for a type of trailer used to transport machinery and plant with a very low loading height and a recessed load bed. They can be a semi-trailer or a Drawbar pulled by a Ballast Tractor unit.
Note:A lot of modern trailers use interchangeable parts to adapt them for different load types and capacities by adding axle units, so are classed as modular trailers.
