Any logo (trademark) belonging to a company or subsidiary of a company that is still trading (even if the subsidiary name (brand) is not (currently) used) should be added to this category.

They are used to identify the brand & identify it clearly to readers. The images copyright belongs to the brands owners and is used in press articles and on their products to identify the company clearly (as opposed to other similarly named firms.

The addition of the {{Fairuse}} tag to the image page automatically adds them to this category.
