The Case IH 584 was a utility tractor built by Case IH from 1985 to 1986 in the Doncaster, England factory, along with row crop, 4WD, and low profile variations.
While the purchase of the International Harvester agricultural equipment division by Tenneco and its merger with Tenneco's J.I. Case division was being worked out in early 1985, International 584 tractors were still being sold by International dealers and listed in price guides[1]. As the Case and International brands were consolidated into the new Case International brand the tractors were sold as Case International 584, commonly known in the industry as Case IH 584. Case IH 584 4WD models were still listed in price guides in 1986, although the replacement Case IH 585 went into production in 1985.
