The Case 22-40 was built from 1919-24, and replaced the Case 20-40 Gasoline tractor in the Case Model line up. This was a large 5 plow rated tractor. About 1,757 were built before it was superseded by the Case 25-45 in 1925. It was built in the USA and featured a 22 hp (16 kW) engine producing 40 hp (30 kW) on the flywheel.
