Carlo Bruneri was born in 1908 at Turin. His first work has been at Paracchi, a famous producer of carpets and tissues in Turin. Carlo and his brother Mario eventually joined their father, Pietro, in his business. In the 1930's Bruneri's industry called "Officine Bruneri" has produced dump trucks. After the II world war the Bruneri brothers have invented the first fully hydraulic excavator called Yumbo.
In 1965 when the partnership with his brother Mario was closed Carlo Bruneri has founded Hydromac . Mario Bruneri has founded Simit in 1965.
Carlo Bruneri is died at 8 october 2008 when he was 100 years old.
