The company was found by brothers Neill and Ian Briggs to produce specialist sports car targeted at enthusiasts.[2]

The company produces the BAC Mono sports car, a single seater car capable of accelerating from 0–62 mph (0–100 km/h) in 2.8 seconds and with a top speed of 170 mph (274 km/h).[2]
