Brahma-Steyr Tractors Ltd. (BSTL) was founded in 1993 to build licensed Steyr tractors in Chandigarh, Punjab, India. The company seemed to hit various obstacles, and it is unknown if any tractors were ever produced. At least one prototype was built and sent to the government for testing.[1] CNH Global owned/owns 10% of the company.[2] (CNH is still listed as owning 10% as of the 2010 SEC filings.[3])
