A Small Bonser Forklift for general warehouse work

The Bonser Engineering company were a manufacturer of Forklift trucks and Material Handler machinery.

Based in Giltbrook near Kimberley, Notts. In late 1970s bought by Komatsu.

Fork lift truks and dumpers were main 2 product lines. FLTs made from David Brown tractors. Products sold in Europe and Middle east as well as UK.

At time present writer worked at Kimberly, 1976-1977, had no knowledge of any linked company - so unlikely to be any tie-up to Digbeth.

MD at time had recently previously saved Aston Martin car company from closure.

Bonser engineering was situated at Giltbrook near Kimberley, Nottingham. The company was taken over by the Lansing Bagnall group around 1985.[citation (source) needed]

the company produced forklift trucks, diesel and electric, dump trucks and owned the engineering firmed called Brough Superior makers of the ledgendary motor bike production ceased at giltbrook and was transferred to lansing Henly site Blackford Gwent South Wales
