Bolinder-Munktell BM 425 - 1959 The Bolinder-Munktell BM 425 Terrier was built by Bolinder-Munktell from 1957 till 1962 in Sweden. It is fitted with a 4-Cylinder gasoline engine, and a hydraulic 3-point linkage.

Model history[]

For company history, see Bolinder-Munktell.

The BM 425 were launched in 1957 to replace the BM 15 model. The engine used was a Volvo B16C gasoline engine. The 425 had a differential lock on the standard version, which was unusual and used as a strong marketing tool.

From 1961 a new five-speed gearbox (from chassis no. 15001) and the Terra Trol hydraulic system was fitted. With Terra Trol there was no longer any need for support wheels on attachments carried by the hydraulics.

Technically this was the same tractor as the Volvo T 425, but painted green.
