Boalloy Trailers were a UK Trailer and vehicle bodybuilder based in Congleton, Cheshire. In October 2007 the company collapsed and administrators from PricewaterhouseCoopers were called in on Monday 15 October 2007.[1] The Company was founded in 19? by ?

The firm was credited with inventing the Taughtliner style of Curtainsider trailer.


A New company Boalloy industries is listed as carrying spares for Boally Trailers.[2]

History[]

Early details required. The Congleton, Cheshire-based group - which includes;

  • Boalloy Engineering;
  • Boalloy Fastruck; and
  • M&G Trailers - West Midlands chassis and specialist trailer builder following sustained losses.

Boalloy had sites at; - Congleton, Cheshire; Bellshill, Lanarkshire; and Lye, West Midlands

In 2006 the company was bought by Irish fabricator JMF, who proposed to turn the company round.[3] But by November 2007 mounting looses caused the company to fold.
