The Bedford TA was a truck produced by Bedford from 1953 to 1958, the truck was a rebadged version of the Chevrolet Advance Design, that rebadging was similiar to the Opel Blitz. The vehicle sold around 500,000 units worldwide and was very popular around Europe as Europeans wanted the Advance Design truck but couldn't have it due to taxes.

In 1958 only 15,000 units were sold which made Bedford to realise that they needed to replace the truck, however due to demand they eventually just facelifted and renamed it the Bedford TJ, the trucks were mostly identical mechanically.
