The 'BMC Yavuz is produced in Turkey by BMC (Turkey). It has also been manufactured as the Volvo Yavuz. The truck was first manufactured in 1983 in partnership with Sweden's Volvo Trucks. It was Turkey's first turbo-engined commercial truck. Volvo left the partnership in 1986.
