The Aveling-Barford LG3' is a road maintenance grader built by Aveling-Barford of Grantham in England. They are based on a ford tractorskid unit witha mid mounted blade.
These are believed to have been mainly supplied to the Forestry Commission for trackway maintenance.
One example of these Graders is currently a property machine in veresdale scrub in South East Queensland, it is fitted with a ford diesel similar to a fordson 8000 tractor, painted orange with a manufacturers plate from Sydney Australia, possible year is 1974 as the id plate is LG374
