The Aveling-Barford LG3' is a road maintenance grader built by Aveling-Barford of Grantham in England. They are based on a ford tractor skid unit witha mid mounted blade.

These are believed to have been mainly supplied to the Forestry Commission for trackway maintenance.

Surviving examplesEdit

One example of these Graders is currently a property machine in veresdale scrub in South East Queensland, it is fitted with a ford diesel similar to a fordson 8000 tractor, painted orange with a manufacturers plate from Sydney Australia, possible year is 1974 as the id plate is LG374

  • Similar machines have been spotted in Ireland. (may not be same model)
