The Anadolu Group is a conglomerate based in Istanbul, Turkey which is active in the Automotive, Agriculture, Food, Retail, Finance, Health, Energy, Sports teams and other business sectors. It was founded in the 1950s by the Yazıcı and Özilhan families. The first company of the group was Celik Motor, founded in 1960, which sold Jawa motorcycle, Puch scooters and Skoda vans. Anadolu Motor was founded in 1965 as Celik Montaj and produced industrial motors under license from Lombardini. Other companies followed in the beverage and sports industries, while Anadolu Isuzu was founded in 1984. Distribution of Honda vehicles began in 1986. From 1989-1993, Anadolu distributed Lada vehicles in Turkey, and 2001 saw the distributorship of Kia begin, and in 2005 Anadolu became the Turkish licensee for McDonald's. The Anadolu Etap Agricultural Products Company was founded in 2009. A distributorship was signed with Geely in 2011. [1]
