Allmand Brothers was founded in Huntley, Nebraska, USA in 1938 by brothers Leslie and Walter Allmand building arc welders. The company later moved to Holdrege, Nebraska. They later built various lighting equipment, backhoes and imported tractors from TYM in South Korea for a time. Some were marketed under the ABI brand.
