The Allis-Chalmers IB tractor was built in the USA by Allis-Chalmers from 1939-1958. It had a 23 hp (17 kW) Allis-Chalmers engine. The first 260 IB tractors had B serial numbers, starting with B#31101. In 1945, Allis made modifications to the tractor and began numbering them with an IB prefix, starting with IB#1001.
