The Allgaier R22 model was built from 1949 to 1952 by Allgaier in Uhingen, Germany and is a 22 hp (16 kW) single cylinder tractor. Allgaier were taken over by Porsche soon after this model was introduced and Porsche 2 cylinder engines used in place of the single cylinder Kaeble engine. This tractor is fitted with a continental type hitch on the back of the Diff housing and an adjustable drawbar. The tractor pictured (above right) is owned by J. Ward from Upper Denby in W. Yorkshire.
