The Libyan Tractor Company builds/assembles/distributes tractors under the Al Jadah brand in Dahra, Tripoli, Libya. Al Jadah means baby camel in Arabic. Founded in 1977, the company is in partnership with Massey Ferguson through ITMCo, (the Iran Tractor Manufacturing Company). They build/assemble Massey Ferguson-licensed tractors under their own brand, that are imported SKD (semi-knocked down) or CKD (complete-knocked down) units, which are originally manufactured by ITMCo. They also import O.T.M.Co-built tractors from Iran, as well as some Sonalika tractors from India.[1]
